When I browse wedding accessory shops, I often see a lot of beautiful, white flowers for your hair. They look so graceful and so simply beautiful for brides! Then I thought... what about all the Chinese brides who are traditionally supposed to be decked out in red? Like me.
Most brides in Asian countries will now have a Western and traditional wedding ceremony on the same day. Chinese brides will often have a white wedding dress for her Western ceremony, and a red wedding qipao for her Chinese Tea Ceremony. This is why I've started on a new project - to make a few red flowers for Chinese brides to wear on their hair. Red feathers and a gorgeous silk peony.
